Restrictive Measures Against Iran
On 11 November 2008, the Treasury issued Guidance to Credit and Financial Institutions for the exercise of vigilance over activities with all Banks domiciled in Iran and their branches and subsidiaries abroad. Although not specifically directed at law firms, they should remain aware of the heightened international concern over dealings with transactions having any links with this particular territory.
